Do you know what I miss? Being a child at Christmas. I miss the magic of the festive period- was Santa real? Why did we have to leave him my Dad’s favourite snacks? The excitement of not being able to sleep on Christmas Eve, and of course the build up, when you’d sit and circle everything you wanted in a catalogue, which you’d then proudly present, to your slightly horrified parents- ‘I don’t expect it all obviously’ didn't even make them un widen their eyes.

As an adult, it’s not the same is it? And something I always struggle with, is when people ask you what you want for Christmas. When you’re an adult, you don’t really know what to ask for, as usually you buy whatever you want yourself. A couple of years ago, the only thing I could think of when my Dad asked me, was a window vacuum. I wanted one to clean the shower, so that’s what my Dad got me. It was a low point, as it made me realise ‘wow I’m officially old.’

If like me, you always struggle with what to ask for, today I have your back, as I’m about to show you a gift set that you are for sure going to want to add to your wish list and also want to buy for everyone you know too.

Beauty, Christmas, Christmas Shopping, Ted Baker, Drugstore, Gifts, Gift Ideas, Make up, Ted Baker Ted’s Bouquet Cosmetic Collection

So let me introduce you to the Ted Baker Ted’s Bouquet Cosmetic Collection, and yes isn’t it seriously DREAMY. Yes so dreamy it deserved to be written in caps.

In fact the whole of the Ted Baker Christmas gift range which is exclusive to Boots is dreamy, if you love rose gold (check), pink (check) and floral prints (check) you will love all of these. You may want it all, and go back to your child ways of circling everything in the Boots Christmas Gift Guide!

But today I’m going to be talking just about the Ted’s Bouquet Cosmetic Collection, a make up gift set, which oh my gosh, deserves all of the heart eye emojis in the world. I mean just look at it all! From the rose gold eyelash curlers, to the stunning lipstick, the gift set is absolutely gorgeous and is so glamorous yet delicate. I found it interesting to learn that the Ted Baker range was inspired by a curious trinket discovered at a New York auction, which explains the art deco feel to the gift sets.

So aside from being seriously pretty, what is in the set?

Well this gift set consists of 12 full size products and tools which will add a touch of glamour from yesteryear to your make up bag. The set is a lavish collection of beauty must haves that are almost too pretty to use, and you’ll want to display them out on your dressing table for everyone to see.

In the gift set you get;

Beauty, Christmas, Christmas Shopping, Ted Baker, Drugstore, Gifts, Gift Ideas, Make up, Ted Baker Ted’s Bouquet Cosmetic Collection

An Eyebrow Pencil : in a medium brown shade to help define and fill in brows.

Mascara: with a plastic wand which helps to separate and lengthen lashes.

There is also some very beaut Rose Gold Eyelash Curlers: which will help to curl your lashes (funnily enough) and open up your eyes.

Every product is beautiful, they are all inspired by vintage glamour and the rose gold packaging is gorgeous. The eyeshadows are buttery and pigmented, the lipstick feels creamy and the brushes are so soft. You may think that the products in beauty gift sets aren’t up to the standard as regular beauty products, but this isn’t the case with the Ted Baker gift sets, and I’ve put together a look using some of the products to show you what you can create.

The Ted Baker Ted’s Bouquet Cosmetic Collection is a gorgeous gift, that I am sure anyone would love to receive on Christmas Day. Also I haven’t even told you the best news yet, so this set is usually priced at £45 which is still a really good price for 12 full size high quality make up products, but this is currently one of the star gifts at Boots meaning it’s currently only £22.50.

Amazing. That’s under £2 for each product- they look like they should be about ten times the price of that! You need to snap this up though, either for yourself or for whoever is on your gift list as I have a feeling this will sell out fast!

The Ted Baker Christmas Gifts Collection is available exclusively at Boots, and you’ll be stuck for choice with what set to buy, as they are all blooming beautiful!

Will you be adding this gorgeous Ted Baker gift set to your wish list?

Oh and one last thing, I’m going to be giving away one of these sets on my Instagram next week, so keep your eyes peeled to be in with the chance of winning an early Christmas present for either yourself or someone who would love this gift set!

Review, Christmas shopping, Benefit gift sets, Benefit BAYbalicious Makeup Gift Set, San Francisco Winter Wonderglam Advent Calendar-

Maybe I'm being a bit of keen Christmas bean but I don't know about you, but I'm already thinking about my Christmas shopping this year. Halloween is next week, which means Christmas season is well and almost truly upon us, (yes I'm one of those people who would happily put up their Christmas decorations in November.) This year, I've decided that I'm starting my Christmas shopping early so that I have time to enjoy Christmassy things during the festive period rather than getting stressed about present buying.

Today I want to share with you, two beauty gift sets that would genuinely make anyone's day if they found these under their Christmas tree. I always find that Benefit Cosmetics do the best gift sets and this years offering are no different. The two sets that I'm going to be talking about are the Benefit BAYbalicious Makeup Gift Set & the Exclusive San Francisco Winter Wonderglam Advent Calendar- which you are going to LOVE. They're both available at Debenhams and are perfect for any beauty lover. These gifts would also be perfect for all ages; from your teen sister just getting into make up, to your twenty something BFF to your Mum and even your Gran.

So I know that you're eager to see what's in these kits, so let's begin shall we?

Review, Christmas shopping, Benefit gift sets, Benefit BAYbalicious Makeup Gift Set, San Francisco Winter Wonderglam Advent Calendar-

Let's start with the Benefit BAYbalicious Makeup Gift Set, which is a full face make up kit in a V cute retro inspired collectible tin. It has 5 products inside, 1 full size, and 4 fun sizes, meaning it's a perfect way to try out some of Benefit's must have products to see how you like them.

Review, Christmas shopping, Benefit gift sets, Benefit BAYbalicious Makeup Gift Set, San Francisco Winter Wonderglam Advent Calendar-

Inside is;

A full size They're real! Duo ShadowBlender in Beyond Nude eyeshadow which is perfect for a neutral day to day eye look, there's also a custom ShadowBlender to help blend your eyeshadow.

A fun size version of Benefit's famous They're real! Mascara in beyond black, then there's a fun size They're real! Double the lip in Lusty Rose which is a really pretty nude lip colour.

Then you can get your glow on with a mini tube of High Beam and finally one of my fave Benefit products; a fun size Gimme Brow in the shade 3 - perfect for taming and setting unruly brows! It also comes with some signature tips of how you can use the products in the best way.

Review, Christmas shopping, Benefit gift sets, Benefit BAYbalicious Makeup Gift Set, San Francisco Winter Wonderglam Advent Calendar-

I love the kit and think it's a cute present, at £29.50 it's a bit of a bargain when the contents come to over £50. It's a great gift for someone who wants to try more Benefit products, I mean who wouldn't want to receive this right? It's the perfect grab and go gift!

Review, Christmas shopping, Benefit gift sets, Benefit BAYbalicious Makeup Gift Set, San Francisco Winter Wonderglam Advent Calendar-

The next set I have to talk about, is potentially my fave out of the two, and not only would this be an amazing Christmas present for someone, but I also think this could totally be one of those things you treat yourself to! So this is the San Francisco Winter Wonderglam Advent Calendar. That's right, an Advent calendar full of make up? YES PLEASE.

This really is the perfect gift for someone (or yourself) who wants to try Benefit products as this is the perfect introduction to the brand. The Advent calendar is based around San Fransisco as you've probably guessed, and it's gorgeous. It's pink and has the most amazing drawings on it of the Golden Gate bridge and again has that retro vibe.

It's got 12 doors so this is one that you'd open every couple of days, or all at once if it's a present! The set includes 12 of Benefit's bestselling products. Now if you don't want to see what's in the advent calendar then perhaps close your eyes and scroll past the next paragraph or so as I'm about to tell you exactly what's in it!

*Spoiler Alert!*

So you ready?

Both sets are dreamy, and would make perfect Christmas presents, I know that I would be happy to receive either from Santa! Debenhams has a whole host of amazing presents this year, so if you're starting your Christmas shopping soon, I'd head there first!

So again sorry for the early Christmas post, but it will soon be upon us! I also have a feeling that these kits may be very popular so you may want to stock up now rather than miss out.
For now I will go and continue with my planning of Christmas presents and decorating, I was very happy to see that Christmas 24 started again this weekend woo!

Are you in the Christmas mood already or is it a little too early for you? Also let me know what Benefit gift set you'd like to receive this Christmas!

Barry M Liquid Chrome Highlighter Drops, Barry M new highlighter, Barry M, liquid highlighter, barry m chrome highlighter drops review, Beauty, Drugstore, Highlighters, Make Up,

I feel like I've been waiting about six years for the new Barry M Liquid Chrome Highlighter Drops to be released. It was a few months ago now since I first spied them on Barry M's Instagram page and knew that I had to get my hands on them thanks to my obsession with highlighters (the make up variety not the Stabilo variety, however, I can always appreciate a good highlighter, my Mum got me some scented ones for college - I know I'd be jealous too)

Anyways, the Liquid Chrome Highlighter Drops have finally been released this week whoo, and I was so excited to receive all five shades earlier this week, so I've been testing them out to let you guys know if they're worth the hype.

So as you've probably guessed the Liquid Chrome Highlighter Drops are liquid highlighters, there's five shades like I mentioned above and they retail at £6.99 each. They were released into Superdrug yesterday, and will be in Boots next week. They're also on the Barry M website and ASOS so there's a few places to get them, but I'd be quick as I imagine these are going to sell out fast.

Barry M Liquid Chrome Highlighter Drops, Barry M new highlighter, Barry M, liquid highlighter, barry m chrome highlighter drops review, Beauty, Drugstore, Highlighters, Make Up,

Let's start with the five shades, then we'll get onto the juicy stuff; there should hopefully be a shade for everyone with these shades as they are quite varied, we'll start with my favourite from the range; Liquid Fortune; a bronzey shade, then we have Beam Me Up : a very pretty light gold, Moon Potion: a pearly highlight with a blue shimmer undertone, Precious Pearl: a pearly highlight with a pink shimmer undertone, then At First Light; which is marketed as a rose gold but is more of a cool toned light pink.

L-R : Precious Pearl, At First Light & Moon Potion

Beam Me Up & Liquid Fortune

So there should be a shade for everyone, I think that Precious Pearl and Moon Potion are perfect for pale skin tones, I will be giving these to my sister to try and see how she gets on.

But for now, let's talk application.

So you could apply these highlighters in a couple of different ways, first of all, on top of your makeup then applied to your cheekbones, brow bone, etc... or you could mix it in with foundation to make it more glowy, or under as a primer to add a glow to your skin. You could also use them on your body such as on your collarbones or decolletage if you're fancy, on your legs, etc... the world is your oyster.

Barry M Liquid Chrome Highlighter Drops, Barry M new highlighter, Barry M, liquid highlighter, barry m chrome highlighter drops review, Beauty, Drugstore, Highlighters, Make Up, Barry M Liquid Chrome Highlighter Drops Swatches

I found that applying these worked better when you'd just put on foundation, so they need to go on another cream/liquid base if that makes sense, I did try on top of powder set foundation and they just went cakey, so just a little word of warning there.

I found that the easiest way to apply them was adding a couple of drops to my face with my fingers, then blending with a damp beauty blender/sponge which helped to blend them in naturally. I'd apply them and build up as Precious Pearl especially was a bit of a nightmare to blend in. Pop on a couple of drops, then add more if like me, you like a lot of highlighter.

Barry M Liquid Chrome Highlighter Drops, Barry M new highlighter, Barry M, liquid highlighter, barry m chrome highlighter drops review, Beauty, Drugstore, Highlighters, Make Up, Barry M Liquid Chrome Highlighter Drops Swatches

(Ignore the state of my hair!)

These highlighters will give you more of a glow/sheen then a 'omg highlight on fleek' look if that makes sense? I found that Liquid Fortune gave me the most dramatic highlight, which is the shade I'm wearing in the pictures in this post. The others made me glowy/dewy, with a little bit of colour. I found that Beam Me Up and Liquid Fortune were the best for my skin tone, the others were a little pale.

Barry M Liquid Chrome Highlighter Drops, Barry M new highlighter, Barry M, liquid highlighter, barry m chrome highlighter drops review, Beauty, Drugstore, Highlighters, Make Up, Barry M Liquid Chrome Highlighter Drops Swatches

So my overall thoughts? I think they're a good little product to have in your make up bag, they're £6.99 and work as well as the Iconic London Illuminating Drops that I have which are about £30ish, so there's a huge difference there. They're perfect for giving you a glow, and I'm excited to try them mixed in with my foundation.

I feel like I applied too much yesterday when I was playing around with them, but I'll keep trying them out and will report back, however, for now I will go and stop waffling on about highlighter!

Let me know if you've tried the Liquid Chrome Highlighter Drops yet!

You guys should know me well enough by now to know that I love a bargain, and I’m the kinda girl who is kind enough to share these bargains with you too (don’t say I never treat you!) Anyways, today I have to tell you about a beauty brand that is perfect if you’re after a dupe of some high end products.

Beauty, Make Up, Drugstore, Dupes, W7 Cosmetics, W7 cosmetics review. high end product dupes, w7 review, charlotte tilbury dupes, naked palette dupe

The brand is W7 Cosmetics, who have seriously upped their game lately, and I’ve been trying a few of their products recently that have seriously impressed me. I thought I would show you what I’ve been loving, and how also I’ve been creating a smokey eye look recently using products from W7.

Beauty, Make Up, Drugstore, Dupes, W7 Cosmetics, W7 cosmetics review. high end product dupes, w7 review, charlotte tilbury dupes, naked palette dupe

So let’s start with my base, I was intrigued about The Genius Foundation after seeing it was a dupe for a few different high end foundations, the dropper looked quite cool and with the promise of smooth skin, and dewy coverage, I thought this could be perfect for Spring. The foundation does feel very light on the skin, like it’s barely there. The coverage is low/medium but you could build it up, and for £7.95, I think it’s a right bargain and it feels a lot more expensive on the skin.

Beauty, Make Up, Drugstore, Dupes, W7 Cosmetics, W7 cosmetics review. high end product dupes, w7 review, charlotte tilbury dupes, naked palette dupe

W7 have an impressive array of concealers in their collection, from colour correctors, to camouflage kits, there’s a lot to choose from. I’ve been trying the Light Diffusing Concealer which is perfect for brightening up dark under eye circles, and then the Catwalk Concealer which is creamy and blendable, perfect for covering spots and marks. One thing I will say though, is that the light shade isn't that light, so just to be aware of that.

I’ve always been a little intrigued by baking and using different powders to set your make up. With my skin being SO oily at the moment, powder is my best friend right now. However, I don’t like it to be cakey (then again who does like cakey make up?) the Catwalk Powder in translucent is however perfect for touch ups throughout the day, and keeping oil at bay (hey that rhymes!) I’ve not yet tried, but also have the Banana Powder too, which I’m so excited about. I’m always excited to try new brightening products for the under eye area, so I’ll let you know how I get on with that.

Beauty, Make Up, Drugstore, Dupes, W7 Cosmetics, W7 cosmetics review. high end product dupes, w7 review, charlotte tilbury dupes, naked palette dupe

Now we’re getting onto the good stuff; bronzer and highlighter, oh yes my favourite make up products. So there’s been a very high end bronzer and highlighter palette that I’ve been meaning to replace for months, but it’s very rare that I can justify £50 for a make up product. However, I almost ran round the house with my top pulled over my head like I’d just scored the winning goal in the World Cup, when I realised that W7 do a dupe for just £5.95. Just saved myself a whopping £46 woo!

Whilst it isn’t as good as it’s high end counterpart, The Hollywood Bronze & Glow is pretty good for a mere £6. The bronzer is a nice warm shade which has a little shimmer giving you that ‘just stepped off the beach’ glow and the highlighter is a nice golden sheen which is perfect for applying on your cheekbones for a day to day glow.

Beauty, Make Up, Drugstore, Dupes, W7 Cosmetics, W7 cosmetics review. high end product dupes, w7 review, charlotte tilbury dupes, naked palette dupe

Then if you’re looking for a cheap highlighter that you can apply and be sure that it can be seen from space, then Glowcomotion is for you. This gold toned highlighter is so pigmented that it could give some super expensive cult highlighters a run for their money. You know that my motto in life is ‘ there is no such thing as too much highlighter’ and this is my new fave. Well for this week, you know that I fall hard for highlighters all the time!

Beauty, Make Up, Drugstore, Dupes, W7 Cosmetics, W7 cosmetics review. high end product dupes, w7 review, charlotte tilbury dupes, naked palette dupe

W7 may be well known for their eyeshadows the most, and the one thing I wanted to try was one of their neutral eye palettes, you guys know me, I am a sucker for a neutral eyeshadow palette and ‘Colour Me Buff’ was calling my name. Now, it doesn’t take a genius to work out which palette this is a dupe of, and I was very intrigued to see if the quality and pigmentation matched up. I have to say they are very similar to one another, and I am pretty impressed. There’s a few gold/bronze colours within the palette which are perfect for using to create a bronzey smokey eye, which you know is my fave.

If you go through eyeshadow like no one’s business like I do, then these are perfect, at just £9.95 they are pretty affordable and the tin means they're pretty durable which makes them great for traveling (you can tell that I’m desperate to book a summer holiday this year can’t you?)

Beauty, Make Up, Drugstore, Dupes, W7 Cosmetics, W7 cosmetics review. high end product dupes, w7 review, charlotte tilbury dupes, naked palette dupe

I also have the Bronze Queen palette which i thought looked pretty great for day to day eye looks, there’s a glittery gold which is so pretty and then a few matte shades, I think this is perfect for a day to day eye look but you could also use it for night out look as well.

Beauty, Make Up, Drugstore, Dupes, W7 Cosmetics, W7 cosmetics review. high end product dupes, w7 review, charlotte tilbury dupes, naked palette dupe

I must also mention the Extra Fine Liner pen which is perfect if you’re a little heavy handed like I am, which means that eyeliner can sometimes look a little *ahem* heavy. However, this liner is perfect as the liner is like a felt tip but it’s pretty thin meaning it's basically impossible to go wrong. I mean, if I can line my upper lash line with this, then you can. I would imagine it’s also good to use for flicks too, as the the thin tip means you can’t go too wrong.

Beauty, Make Up, Drugstore, Dupes, W7 Cosmetics, W7 cosmetics review. high end product dupes, w7 review, charlotte tilbury dupes, naked palette dupe

Lips wise, unless if you’ve been living in a cave recently, you’ll know that it's all about matte lips right now. Basically every brand has their own matte lip colour products, and W7 is no exception. However, the Mega Matte Lip Liquid Lipstick in the shade two bob is a must have for any nude matte lip fans, it reminds me of one of those Kylie Jenner shades and is so easy to apply and wear.

Beauty, Make Up, Drugstore, Dupes, W7 Cosmetics, W7 cosmetics review. high end product dupes, w7 review, charlotte tilbury dupes, naked palette dupe

It's not too drying and smells really sweet too, which you’ll either love or hate, but for me, it’s love. The Lip Twister lipliners are also pretty good for lining your lips and making them a little fuller aka Kylie style.

I have to say, that i wasn't sure what to expect from W7, but I have been pretty impressed with the products that I have tried so far from the range. I would say that my ultimate faves are; The In The Buff palette, the Mega Matte Lips lipstick and the Glowcomotion highlighter.

I think they have a great range of products that are pretty good dupes but for a much more reasonable price. Definitely worth a try!

I would love to know if you’ve ever tried W7, and if so what were your fave products from the brand?

Beauty, Make Up, Skincare, Summer, summer make up, prepping for summer, make up flat lay, flat lay, fragrance direct

I always usually get a little ahead of myself as soon as Easter is over. I automatically start thinking about Summer, as soon as the Creme Eggs hit the clearance shelves. It’s almost like Spring is just a short season for me, and my mind is already set on warm sunny days, trips to the beach and wondering how many printed skater dresses can I buy for my summer wardrobe this year?

However, I do find that this is the perfect time of year to start prepping for summer, yes that’s right prepping for summer. Before you think I’ve gone completely mad, let me explain what I mean by this.

Beauty, Make Up, Skincare, Summer, summer make up, prepping for summer, make up flat lay, flat lay, fragrance direct

So basically, it’s when I change up my beauty routine in prep for the warmer months. This means that my pamper routine changes slightly, and today I thought I’d share what I’ve been using and what new products have come in to my routine recently. I've also been trying out a few new brands recently that you may have not heard of, so I thought I'd share with you some of the things that I have been enjoying using, in case you'd like to check them out too.

So make up wise, every Spring/Summer, I tend to get a little more adventurous, well let’s just emphasise the ‘little’ there haha. So starting with foundation, I do try to wear a slightly lighter base during Spring/Summer, so with the warmer weather hopefully on the horizon, I’ve been weaning myself from my matte foundations. You know when suddenly your make up just feels too heavy? Yeah that’s me right now.

Beauty, Make Up, Skincare, Summer, summer make up, prepping for summer, make up flat lay, flat lay, fragrance direct

So I’ve been trying the Glo & Ray CC Primer, which is an illuminating primer for the skin, this helps to smoothen my skin whilst giving a nice glow which is perfect for summer skin. I’ve been wearing this with a little concealer on good skin days and then just under my foundation on days where I’m going out. But it’s a really nice glowy primer which has been perfect for pairing with a lighter foundation for that fresh dewy look.

Beauty, Make Up, Skincare, Summer, summer make up, prepping for summer, make up flat lay, flat lay, fragrance direct

Like I said, I’ve been trying to ditch the really matte look that I tend to wear in the Winter. So I’ve been also using the Glo & Ray Loose Setting Powder which gives an almost airbrushed finish to the skin, it’s a bit lighter than the powder foundation that I’ve been using recently to set my make up, so this will definitely be my summer powder of choice as it’s a little lighter on the skin. My skin always get super oily no matter what season it is, so I can never totally skip the powder. But I do find going for an illuminating loose powder is perfect for Spring/Summer make up.

Beauty, Make Up, Skincare, Summer, summer make up, prepping for summer, make up flat lay, flat lay, fragrance direct

I wear a lot of highlighter all year round, so there’s no changes there, but recently, I have been getting back into blush again. I find it just adds a little glow to my face, and the Glo & Ray blush in the shade Hot Pink reminds me of Nars Orgasm as it’s got a gold sheen to it. Perfect for pairing with a tan (more on that later though!) However, I only apply a very light swash of colour to my cheeks and not round circles of colour like I used to do in 2009!

Eye makeup wise, I’ve been feeling a lot of festival vibes lately, especially since Coachella has been all over my Instagram feed these past couple of weeks. I’ve been feeling a gold lid which I’ve been creating with gold shadow and liner, and then either pairing it with lots of black eyeliner, or wait for this, I’ve been digging blue eyeliner again recently. I know right? Is it 2006 again?

The Glo & Ray Silky eyeliner in Summer Sky is perfect for either lining the waterline or the upper lash line for a subtle hint of colour, I think I’m going to try and be a bit more adventurous with my make up this summer, and I think this is a good but subtle way to change things up! I went to a blogging event recently where lots of the girls were wearing blue eye make up, and I have to say, it made me think ‘maybe I don’t need to wear a brown smokey eye all the time.’ I know right, where is Corrie and is she hiding under the bed?

Lips wise, I always try to branch out from my usual nude wintery shades and try to switch things up with either a peachy shade or a pink during Spring/Summer. I’ve been liking a couple of shades lately, one is L’Oreal’s NutriShine By Color Riche Lipstick in the shade Shiny Grapefruit which  is perfect for wearing with a smokey eye to brighten things up a little, hopefully ( I have all my fingers crossed) for a summer holiday this year and I can imagine this would look so good with a tan. But usually I find just using a slightly peachy toned nude lipstick is perfect for changing things up a little and warms up your skin tone too.

Talking of tan, I’ve been trying to perfect my fake tan routine recently. In the winter, I get a little lazy, it’s very easy to just tan the bits that everyone sees (for example knees & arms) I’ve also been a bit rubbish at exfoliating meaning that my legs are patchier than a patchwork blanket right now. Lovely. So, I’ve been getting better at exfoliating, moisturising (goodbye dry knees and elbows) and taking my time when applying tan. I’ve also got one of my favourite fake tans, the St Tropez Dark Bronzing Spray back in my life, it's one of my faves cause it looks really natural and fades so nicely!

Also I’ve got a back tanning mitt, which let me just tell you, changed my life. I’m not even joking.

When I am a bit more bronzed, I do go for a brighter nail, essie Fear and Desire, is one of my current bright nail choices which looks so good with a tan. It’s actually nice to have a change from my usual pale pink and if I do get on that summer holiday, how good would this look round the pool?

I’ve also changed up my perfumes recently too, does anyone else have a bit of a fragrance wardrobe and have summer/winter scents? I like to have different perfumes for all occasions, such as seasons, as they then remind me of different things. I love the feeling of summer, so i always try to have a ‘summer smell’. However, I have been switching in between Calvin Klein Summer which is a little more masculine compared to the usual sweet scents I go for. With notes of lime, citron and cucumber, it’s quite fresh but still has that summer feeling. Then there’s, Givenchy Live Irresistible which is a little more like my usual picks, this one is pretty girly and fruity smelling thanks to pear, green apple and raspberry notes, this is a perfect daytime fragrance as it’s very easy to just pop on. The bottle is quite travel friendly too, so I’ve been putting this in my handbag for little touch ups throughout the day.

Finally, my summer evening perfume of choice for those rare occasions, where I do leave the house haha is YSL Black Opium, which first of all is in the most amazing glittery black bottle and smells so good. It’s a little mysterious and when I wear it, it makes me feel like the sassy red dress emoji lady. With notes of coffee, vanilla, jasmine, orange blossom and more, it’s hard to describe but I love this perfume so much. To me, it smells quite grown up, and it’s just perfect for evenings out. Also that bottle, serious heart eye emojis!

So yeah, there is what I’ve been doing to prep a little for the summer, essentially, adding some brighter colours to my make up bag, upping my tanning routine and switching up my perfumes!
