Hello!

As much as I love summer, I have been quite enjoying the opening arms that Autumn has been gracing us with lately. There's a chill in the air, the nights are drawing in and I'm digging out all my autumnal coloured items in my wardrobe. Shades such as berry, khaki and navy are everywhere right now and I'm replacing my pastels with colours such as these! Today's outfit is very autumnal and even consists of two colours together, something that usually I don't do. I try to play it quite safe with my clothes but every now and then it's good to mix it up and this beautiful peter pan collar top from French Connection could be paired with a bin bag and still look good! French Connection is a shop I tend to forget about when I'm shopping, for the past few years, I've just not been inspired by their clothes but the new A/W collection is something else. I now tend to visit whenever I'm in town and literally coo at all the beautiful clothes. French Connection has got very smart and if I had a job where I had to where proper work attire, my wardrobe would be from there. Think fitted shirts, blazers, skater dresses and the addition of a collar here and there, I'm in seventh heaven. Those FCUK tshirt days are long gone.

Jeans: New Look
Shoes: Primark

Of course French Connection is a little pricier than other shops on the high street but the quality just seems so much higher, this lace top is so soft I actually want to rub my face on it. Don't worry though, I won't. There's a few things I've got my eye on in French Connection at the mo, including a beautiful leather jacket that I will be ebaying some clothes in order to make some money to buy it with. Your bank balance will definitely weep when you swoon over the beautiful clothes. This Vanity Lace Collar Top* is right up my street, lace and a collar.. You're onto a winner. Like I mentioned the lace is oh so soft and it definitely reminds me of something that one of my style icons Caroline Flack would wear. On the less expensive side of the high street, is my new berry jeans from New Look. They're super soft and even fit my short legs which is pretty impressive. I fell in love with the colour and thought they'd look perfect over Autumn and Winter and are a little more exciting than just my usual jeans. I've paired the two items together to create an Autumn hue, my boyfriend told me I looked like a boy. I told him to bugger off. These men just don't understand fashion at all do they?

So I hope you have a great Monday, it seems the sun is trying to peek it's head out so maybe Autumn isn't here quite yet. I have this morning off which is nice but I feel a sore throat coming on which isn't surprising considering how much of a shock I had last week when I worked 9/10 hours each day. I feel like it's teasing me saying ' I might strike.. or I might not.' It's like Jaws but in the form of a sore throat. Odd. Have a lovely day you lot :)

Hello!

Today was the first of my two days off, whoop whoop. If you're a student then please take advantage of having summer holidays, as soon as you enter the world of work you realise how you took those weeks of doing nothing for granted! With part one of my days off, I decided to pop to town as I needed to go get my laptop and some other odds and ends. The weather is being a right temperamental thing and can't make it's mind up, one minute it's sunny, the next it's not. It's very confusing when deciding what to wear, especially when you're as indecisive as me, hey choosing what colour to paint my nails is the hardest decision of my week. I decided that this cute dress from Lovestruck was the perfect attire for funny weather. Cool enough for when the sun blazed down and not too short that the residents of Jeremy Kyle who seem to always be in town give you evils for daring to wear something other than uggs.

Dress: Lovestruck*
Belt: New Look
Really Uncomfortable Shoes: River Island

Lovestruck is an online clothing brand which was set up in 2009. They mix vintage style with a playful twist and have some really lovely items. I have the Maggie Oval dress* which is a new favourite in my wardrobe. I'm not usually a dress kinda girl, you're more likely to find me in shorts or a play suit due to a fear of the wind blowing up my skirt and me showing my pants to everyone. Maybe I had an embarrassing incident in a previous life or something. Anyway this dress is a little gem, it's very me (and Flack) with it's collar and has cute polka dots with flowers inside. The buttons even have little bows on, it's just one of those cute dresses. I really love the fit of it, it has an elasticated waistband which wasn't great when I was full of Nando's but this means I could alter the length slightly. Being 5ft 2 this full length was a little too long for my liking but I rolled it underneath the waistband and popped a tan belt over the top to match my Zara shopper bag. I also find the sleeves flattering as it's not quite sleeveless but not quite sleeves, it manages to flatter my joints of gammon arms. All in all I really love this dress and feel all girly and Blair Waldorf like when I wear it.

Top Left to Bottom Right:
Cute Detailing
Throwing my Lavish Alice Denim Shirt* over the top
The Zara Shopper begged me for a picture the attention seeker
Cute and very Flack Collar

So I hope you've all had a good day, my neck is back to normal, thankfully no more acting like a meerkat for me and big congratulations if you picked up GCSE results today! My sister got hers and her results clearly demonstrate she got all the brains, she's definitely not a dizzybrunette like her sister!

Hey Lovelies!

Just a little outfit post from me today, this was taken a couple of days ago on New Years night when my boyfriend and I went for a meal with his Mum and her partner. I always like to dress up a little bit especially when going for a meal in the evening, so I went for a dressier version of my uniform- peter pan collar blouse with some shorts!

Top: Primark
Shorts: Miss Selfridge
Tights: Primark
Boots: Dorothy Perkins

How cute is this top though and from Primark too! It was only £10.00 and they also have it in black and white too, I only picked this up last week so it hopefully should be in stores still! Though I can't work out whether I need to wear a vest top with this top or not, I didn't to dinner and one of the buttons kept gaping so I spent most of the evening worrying I was flashing some booby to my boyfriend's family, not that there's much to flash but y'know!

I hope you've all had a good day, I've had one of those days when you're just fed up, my skin is playing havoc again  so I've been online doing research of trying to find some new skincare products! At the moment I'm swayed by the Liz Earle superskin concentrate as I think my skin needs a little TLC! I'm also still deliberating what to spend my John Lewis voucher on and at the moment Nars Laguna is completely winning, I'll probably let you all know once I've made my final decision though! :)

I hope you all have a lovely evening, I'm going to get up off my bum, give the flat a tidy and make some tea.. OMG just realised I bought Heat earlier and I haven't read it yet *feels forehead to see if I'm ill* this has never happened before.. well that's my evening sorted! Ha I bet you all really wanted to know that didn't you ;)
Hey Lovelies!

I hope you've all had a great Friday! I've had a lovely chill day, it's consisted of sleeping (I'm not even going to feel guilty at the time I dragged myself out of bed, I also had a weird dream about Olly Murs, but that's enough about that) taking photographs for posts, making YouTube videos and catching up with blog posts. Tomorrow I aim to the do the same. Bliss.

Now if you've read this blog for a little while or watch my videos, you will know of my love for Peter Pan collars, I love them and anything with a collar is an instant winner to me. I think one of the reasons I like them so much is because I'm not very big in the booby department so it means I can get away with covering up and not looking like a frump. I'm more of a get your legs out girl to be honest and we all know you only either get your boobs or your legs out, not both.

I saw Kate from Dollybowbow tweet about these Peter Pan collars and I clicked on the link and ordered one so fast, as I just knew I had to have one. I'm sure you all know about Kate, I've had the pleasure of meeting her in real life and she's not only gorgeous but also so, so lovely. She has a lovely online shop which has amazing jewellery, clothes and accessories. These peter pan sequin necklaces are £10.00 which I think is a great price as you can create new looks with tops that you already have, so it saves you spending money on  a new outfit!

There's a multi coloured sequin one and a black one, I went for the multi one as I am loving glitter at the moment and thought it would jazz up my boring black tops! I wore it today with my trusty black lace Zara top and loved the look! It definitely will be a look I'll be rocking over the festive period. The link to the collars are HERE  Both the colours are out of stock at the moment, but I'm sure I saw Kate tweet that they'd have more soon!

Do you like the peter pan collar trend?

I hope you all have a lovely Friday evening, my evening will be spent editing my Little Mix make up tutorial video and cooking a quorn curry :) YUM!
