Barry M, or Boney M as my Dad once called them, are up there in my ranks of fave make up brands. Affordable, cruelty free and always bringing out new products are just a few reasons why i heart them so much. I have always loved Barry M nail polishes, I used to buy them like they were going out of fashion when I was a teen, and when the new season's colours dropped, I'd practically drop everything to run out to Boots to go buy them. I was like this Barry M stalker, who would wait for the day they'd be released and then go get them that day.

So one of my many perks of being a blogger, is being able to get collections of new products to review, and to this day, I still can't believe my luck when the new Barry M collections pop through my letter box. I always do a little dance and squeal. This Spring, sees a new collection of products added to Barry M's always ever growing line up. Most of it, is pretty dreamy, and I am very excited by the new nail colours that's for sure!

First up let's talk about the new nail releases; first up is the Gelly collection which come with a new wider brush which is just a god send for everyone like me who can't paint their nails very easily (the wider brush makes things way easier.)  The four shades are what I'm calling 'princess shades' very light, and dreamy, there's; Pink Lemonade (off white pink, think a slightly dirtier Essie Fiji) Butterscotch Sundae (a off cream/white) Cream Soda (off white) and Acai Smoothie ( a magenta purple pink).

The Speedy nail polishes also have a couple of nude pale shades in their new collection too, Winning Streak ( creamy beige colour) In A Flash has caught my eye the most (a pale peach which I can tell you right now would look amazing with a tan.) Then there's Freestyle ( a dusky pink colour) and Personal Best ( a dusky purple.)

There's also new releases to the Sunset nail collection; All The Things She Red (A bright red) Bug A Blue (a Bright blue, very similar to a colour I was obsessed with back in 2010) Pinking Out Loud (bright barbie pink) Empire State Of Mint ( a bluey/green colour, it's a toned down version of Gelly release Greenberry from a couple of years ago.)

There's also a new dark version of the Contour palette with three new shades, and a new brow kit in Light To Medium which also comes equipped with mini tweezers and double sided brush. Finally there's a new mascara in the form of 'Thats How I Roll' a new curling mascara which promises you to ditch the eyelash curlers behind. Ooh I say.

I haven't tried any of the new products yet as I was a keen bean to get them photographed and posted for you guys, however I will be trying the nail polishes out this weekend I am sure, so I will report back with news :)

I think my faves have to be the new pastel light nail colours, I am obsessed with light nail colours so I feel all these off white colours are just talking to me. I am very excited to paint my nails with them and to also try the new mascara and brow kit too!

What has caught your eye from the new releases?

If you're a blogger, do you ever pinch yourself? Stop and give yourself a pinch and think 'how did this happen?' I wont lie, I did it the whole train ride home after meeting Cheryl, but the other day when this huge box of Barry M goodies arrived at my door, I may have pinched myself and then jumped up. The funny thing is that, back in the day when I first started blogging, a lot of what I posted about was Barry M. I used to get the most excited about their launches, and my friends and I would buy all the new nail polishes and compare our faves. I spoke about them so much, that my Dad would say to me ' are you talking about Boney M again?' Awk.

Anyway, I am still obsessed with their stuff, and I feel like so lucky to be able to see collections before they go into store. Some of you may be reading this and be like 'Corrie pal, it's Barry M not Burberry.' But honestly, when you've loved a brand so much growing up, it doesn't matter if the stuff is £3.99 or £300, it excites you and honestly a box of Barry M would excite me more than Burberry, so yeah.

Okay so lets actually get ono the post cause I have a feeling this is going to a be long one anyways. Barry M have a quite a few launches in their new A/W collection, most of which is out already wahoo, so if you're a keen bean like me, you can totally run out to Boots/Superdrug and go buy them.

What's New: Four new Gelly shades, four new Speedy shades, four new Daylight shades. All with new extra wide brushes, wahoo. The Gelly shades are very dark and moody, there's Black Currant a very dark violet (my auto correct just said very dark toilet and I did laugh out loud.) Black Cherry which I am sure was a nail polish back in the day, or it might have been Black red, anyway very similar colour a dark wine red. I basically loved this colour but whenever I wore it on a  night out, bad things happened. Not like murder or anything, but there was always drama so I threw it out cause no one has time for drama creating nail polish. Black Grape which in the bottle looks black but is in fact a very dark navy. Finally Black Pistachio which is  dark hunter green.

The Speedy shades are a bit brighter. WE have Slip Stream which is a bright purple/magenta, Sprint Finish, a dark raspberry colour, Dead Heat a bright red, and Dragster a grungry grey. These dry quicker than the usual Barry M nail polishes, tbh I don't really notice an awful lot of difference in drying times.

Finally the Sunset polishes, which imitate gel nail polish but done in the comfort of your own home. The new shades are Vengeance is Wine, a wine red, Plum on Baby, a plum colour (funnily enough) Dark Side Of The Shroom, a dusky purple, Do You Pink I'm Sexy, a baby pink. I love Barry M colours, I find they aren't the longest lasting so you need a good top coat but I always love the colours and this new range has a perfect A/W colour for everyone. My picks? Do You Pink I'm Sexy, Black Cherry and Plum On Baby.

Barry M have been getting into expanding their make up range and have launched some new palettes this A/W.

First of all we have Get Up & Glow which is a blush, bronzer and highlighter palette, with one bronzer, two blush and two highlighters, it's very warm toned and I would probably stay away if you are really pale. There is a peachy blush shade, a warm coral, a baby pink highlight and light gold highlighter. I am not overly fussed on this palette as the highlight isn't as shimmery or buttery as I would like. However the bronzer is quite similar to Nars Laguna, and the peach and coral blush are very pretty and pigmented.

Price: £6.49 (out now in Boots)

Pout N About is a lip colour palette, which has five shades, featuring a baby pink, coral pink, rosy pink, nude and bright red it has something for everyone. With a lot of product in each pan, I would imagine it would last you quite a long time. The shades aren't overly pigmented and are quite glossy, I would say it's more of a lip tint palette but give it a swatch to see what you think.

Price: £6.49 (out now in Superdrug & Boots)

Finally we move onto my fave palette, it makes me go all heart eye emoji. The Super Natural eyeshadow palette is like a mix of all three naked palettes, it has really pretty packaging and has some pretty pink highlighter shades, a gold, bronze brown, rose gold, matte brown and dark purple, it's so girly and perfect for wintery smokey eyes. Pretty pigmented and buttery shadows, I'm impressed. I just wish the shadows were a bit bigger, as I find the narrow slots quite difficult to get my brush in.

Price : £6.49 (Superdrug only)

The Satin Super Slick lipsticks are a new lip range, in a  sleek dark grey metallic packaging, they're pretty sexy. You know when a make up item looks sexy? This is one of them, I even think James Bond would carry round one of these, or maybe not, I don't really know what I'm talking about right now. These have a mixture of shea butter and vitamin E so are extremely moisturising on the lips. Coming in six shades, they are all pretty neutral and very Kylie Jenner esque. I think that if Kylie Jenner had a lipstick range that these are the kind of colours you would find. My only gripe? I wish they were matte. These have a satin texture, but you can always blot on some powder to make the colour matte, so no point completely disregarding them if you're not a shiny lip fan.

The colours are; 166 Peachy Keen, a coral peach orange, 168 a mauve nude (very Kylie), 169 a toffee nude, very similar to MAC velvet Teddy, 171 a grape purple colour, 167 a rosy pink, think East End Snob from Rimmel in lipstick form, and 170 a mauve nude, again very similar to the lip colour that KJ has been wearing recently.

These are pretty glossy,  but very pigmented, they are perfect lip shades for Autumn, and for less than a fiver you can't go wrong.

Barry M have three new flawless primers; the original primer, which helps to eradicate oil,  and smoothen skin. The Colour Correcting Primer, a green toned primer which is to correct redness with calming cucumber and chamomile. Finally the Brightening primer which is a lilac colour to liven up a dull complexion. I am yet to try these but will report back when I have.

Price: £5.99

Finally we have Light Me Up, a liquid highlighter. It's very glowy, shimmery and is almost identical to Nars Copacabana illuminator. It can be mixed in with foundation or used on it it's own to add a dewy glow to the face. However, a little goes a long way so be careful!

Price: £4.99.

Phew there we go, there are all the new Barry M launches, have you tried any yet?

L-R- Do It Like A Dude, I've Been Pinkin, Peach For The Stars, The Way You Make Me Teal, Fuchsia Generation, Can't Get You Out Of My Red, You Drive Me Navy (OMG Just realised these are all based on songs haha amazing)

I have always sung high praises for Barry M. I think they are one of the most innovative beauty brands out there who are always bringing out new ranges, especially when it comes to nails. I've always loved Barry M nail paints, and love that there is always new ranges and colours coming out. The latest could be one of their most innovative yet.. introducing the Sunset Collection.

The Sunset Daylight Curing Nail Paint, aims to mimic the effect of gel nails, but without the need for an UV lamp. With 8 shades in the range and a special top coat to go alongside the colours, the Sunset collection had me intrigued from the get go.

I've never had gel nails before but have heard a lot of good things. From long lasting nail paint to shiny flawless colour, it sounds definitely up my street. However Barry M obviously knew how hard it is to get your bum to a salon to get this done, so have brought out a range that makes this way easier. So basically you paint your nails with one of the colours from the range, and then apply the top coat. Natural or artificial light will bond the polishes to the nail like a gel but without the need for an UV lamp and you can also remove the colour yourself with a normal nail polish remover.

I was interested to see how this would work, and I decided to try it out with Peach For The Stars, which is a bright almost neon pink colour which I love. There are some nice shades in the range, I would of liked to have seen some  more pastels, but hopefully more colours will be released within time. The brushes are easy to paint with, and the colour is opaque and creamy. I did two layers, then applied the top coat. I cured mine with just artificial light as it was night time, but I didn't have to do anything in particular, just slightly aim them at the light.

Within a couple of minutes my nails were dry and were shiny. Recently, my nails have always turned out bubbly which is so annoying, but my nails were shiny and bubble free hooray! So I was most interested to see how long the nail polish would last. As much as I love Barry M nail paint, I do find it chips on me quite easily, if I don't wear a good topcoat it chips within a day. However this lasted four days without chipping and only chipped when I did a mega house clean. I was pretty impressed with that though, and even on day 7 I still have a couple of nails that are still in tact! The collection is said to last up to 10 days, but on me they lasted a good 4 days. Which I don't think is too bad at all :)

So I'm excited to try the other colours, I think I'm going to use the nude colour tonight and I'm excited to see what Barry M brings out next, maybe a nail technician jump out of a bottle to do cool nail art in your own living room? Actually not sure if I like the idea of that haha.

Barry M have always been one of my favourite brands. I spent many a Saturday when younger, browsing the aisles of Boots and seeing if there were any new releases to the brand. I used to boast about my Barry M collection when I was at college ( was obviously destined to be a beauty blogger) and now that I get to preview new releases does make me feel very lucky. The 17 year old inside me (and lets be honest most of the time, I act like a 17 year old) gets very excited when news of new collections get released. Spring make up releases are always amongst my favourites, and I always look forward to Barry M's spring nail new releases. I knew there was a reason to be excited as this Spring there are some gems to hit the beauty shelves.

First of all let's start with a new range; Speedy Nail Paint, a collection of nail polish with a new flat top brush which makes painting your nails so much easier! I love these types of brushes, and honestly was so pleased to see this had been added to the new range. The formula is also to meant to speedily dry too on your nails, the premise of the brush and the formula means a quicker experience to paint your nails. There's 9 shades in the range and I wont lie, all of the shades are very pretty. Taking on a spring pastel theme, there's a baby pink, to a coral, to a lilac, to a cool toned grey. The polishes are based on car racing, from the checker board lids to the names which range from Full Throttle, to Pit Stop. I did think that the polishes dried pretty quickly when I applied them, and they are quite long lasting on the nails too. With a top coat, they last a good four-five days without chipping. Well they did on me and I was seriously impressed. Definitely worth checking out and the colours are perfect for Spring! They're £3.99 and I already spotted them in Superdrug last week, so you should be able to get your hands on them right now!

Next up is three new additions to the well known Gelly range, and the new additions are also very pretty and Springlike too. Basically Barry M have knocked it out of the park with their new nail shades. Cotton is an off white, Fondant is a lilac and Sky Blue is a baby aqua blue. All seriously pretty and all have the great formula that we love about the Gelly range.

Finally I have two new additions to the Gelly High Shine Lips range, a series of glossy lipsticks, which launched last summer. They were released in statement shades such as reds and pinks, so it's nice to see two new shades added to the collection, one which is a nude! Orion is a brown toned nude and Sigma is a peachy coral, which is a new fave in my collection and will sure to be a staple in the summer! Both the sticks are glossy yet don't feel sticky on the lips.

I've been really enjoying the new launches from Barry M, especially the new nail shades. Now that I've seen a little bit of sun in the mornings, there's no stopping me painting my nails in all the pastel shades now :) are you fan of Barry M? What was the first polish you ever bought from them? Mine was called Baby Pink and reminded me of pink smarties :)

As soon as Christmas comes around, I dig out one thing. Is it the eggnog? Nope (and I've never even had eggnog so don't even know why I said that) Is it my Christmas jumper? Well yes but still not the right answer. I tell you what, I'll put you out of your misery and just tell you. It's glitter nail polishes. Oh yes, Christmas is the one time where you can go all out with the glitter and no one can say anything. From glitter eyeliner, to even glitter hair spray, the world goes a little glitter mad in the name of Christmas. Why we love glitter at Christmas, I'm not too sure, but if you cant beat them, join them.

Glitter nails are something I always try to rock around Christmas. I am usually quite boring with my nail polish colours and lately I have been favouring dark colours such as black or purple so a touch of glitter just livens everything up. I have a collection of glitters that I always dig out, and the majority of them are quite cheap too which is good considering that I only use them for about four weeks of the year.

The pro's of glitters are that they last a long time on your nails, they seem to be a super strength top coat, but the con is of course taking them off. You will literally sit for hours scrubbing with your nail polish remover, using tin foil wrapped around soaked cotton wool helps, or you could do what I sometimes very naughtily do, and peel them off. But don't let anyone hear, I've told you that. I've been loving these new glitters from Barry M this year so far, they have chunky glitter particles for a 3D effect, I also love Essie's A Cut Above, a girly chunky glitter, in fact their winter collection is five glitters, so check that out if you're after a new glam Christmas glitter. An old favourite is Models Own Pink Fizz, something I have used for years, and is a typical thick pink glitter nail polish, think Barbie has vomited everywhere. I also have a Ciate glitter called Twinkle Toes which is a loose glitter (ooh scary) which you can add to your nails by pouring over a top coat. This is for the slightly more steady handed and you need to do it over some paper or things will get seriously glittery. I love the holographic effect of this glitter though, and it's worth the patience.

These are what I'll be wearing on my nails in the lead up to Christmas, yes a little tacky and a bugger to get off, but ever so pretty and lets be honest who doesn't love being a disco ball at Christmas?

Sometimes you hear about a beauty brand being more than just beauty and actually show that they have a personality and heart behind the products. Barry M have showed us this recently with a new charity lip gloss being released in collaboration with a inspirational young lady called Holly Addison. Unveiled on ITV show Surprise Surprise,  I saw tweets about the charity lipgloss that Barry M had created with Holly with 70% of the proceeds going to the Katherine House hospice where Holly's late Dad stayed whilst being treated for aggressive brain cancer. Holly has raised over £7000 in the past 18 months for different charities, and was surprised on Surprise Surprise for her amazing work.

The Barry M lip gloss is called Holly A's Surprise Surprise Lip gloss and also under the code of LGWHA-STL. It's a milky pale pink colour, with the usual smell and consistency of the Barry M lip glosses. I love the Barry M glosses as they smell amazing and last quite a long time on the lips. The shade is perfect for putting over the top of nude lipsticks or could be used alone on the lips for a pink sheeny look. The lip gloss will be available for 6 months and costs £4.49. I'm also pretty sure it's only available online, but definitely worth a look as you can buy lip gloss and support a great cause. What's not to like? :)

From L-R Nightshade, Ballerina and Vintage Violet

I have been a big fan of Barry M nail polishes for a fair few years. I used to stalk the counter looking for new releases every few weeks back in the day, and new seasonal colours always made me go a little giddy. This year's Autumn collection made me very excited and made me feel 17 again and took me right back to being in Boots! Three new colours have been added to the Barry M main nail collection, which are all priced at £2.99 each, meaning they are a real bargain.

The new releases consist of a dark black/purple called Nightshade, Vintage Violet a dusky mid toned purple and Ballerina, a dusky baby pink. The colours are girly and perfect for Autumn and when used with a good base and top coat can last a good three days without chipping which isn't bad for a nail polish that costs under £3! Vintage Violet is my favourite colour from the new releases as it's an unusual purple and I don't have a another nail colour like that in my collection.

If you're into purple and pink nail colours and wanted an autumn revamp on those colours, I definitely would check these out! They are available in Superdrug already :) so what are you waiting for!

So seeing as it's now October and I went and bought tights the other day. Autumn is officially here. I'm not going to lie, I'm pretty happy as I always love A/W clothing and this year I have not held back with buying a few new additions to my wardrobe #whoops. With this in mind, not only am I digging out my boots and scarves but some of my beauty routine has changed too. Especially when it comes to my nails. Throughout spring and Summer, I wore pastels and neon's on my nails, but that seems a bit wrong when it's blowing a gale outside and raining a monsoon.

With this in mind, my nail collection has taken a u-turn and long gone as the mint candy apples and baby pinks, and in their place are moody greys, and blackcurrant purples. I've been loving nail polishes from a variety of brands this season so far, from Barry M's new additions to their Gelly and Nail Paint line up, with Nightshade a dark moody purple, and Chai a cool toned grey, have been perfect for autumnal colours but on a budget. Cocoa is a rich, warm brown that will be perfect for around bonfire night. It will look perfect on your nails whilst your hands are wrapped around a mug of hot chocolate. What I will say is, invest in a good top coat as these chip quite easily! I've also been loving this shade by Mavala, who's nail polish I've never actually used before but comes in the most dinky bottles. I like to hold them and pretend I'm a giant. Ha you'd never know I was 23 would you? Montevideo is a raspberry red that I actually have on my nails right now and is one of those shades that doesn't look much in the bottle but once applied is actually really flattering and perfect for autumn!

These are the shades I'll be using on rotation throughout out Autumn/Winter but I'm sure there may be a few new additions added not before too long! What's your favourite Autumn/Winter nail shade?
